GRIEVANCE MECHANISM IN VIETNAM TUNA FISHERIES FIP The Vietnam Tuna Association (VINATUNA) has announced an adjusted FIP Feedback Mechanism to ensure that fishers, crew members, and vessel owners have safe and effective channels to report issues related to working conditions, safety at sea, and responsible fishing practices.

Training on good social responsibility practices – Safety at sea in the tuna fishing industryIn the framework of Vietnam Yellowfin tuna fishery improvement project, on the morning of April 24, 2024, in Nha Trang city, Vietnam Tuna Association coordinated with the Region IV Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center organized a training workshop on Good Practices for Social Responsibility - Safety at sea in tuna fishing sector. There were 45 tuna fishermen in Nha Trang City attended this workshop.
