Demonstrating a Commitment to Transparency – Advancing the Sustainable Development of Vietnam’s Tuna Industry

As global seafood markets increasingly emphasize transparency, traceability, and sustainability, participation in the FIP Code Program demonstrates an enterprise’s commitment to responsible sourcing and the development of a transparent and accountable tuna supply chain that meets international market expectations.

The FIP Code Assessment Program, jointly implemented by the Vietnam Tuna Association (VINATUNA) and Bureau Veritas Vietnam, is conducted annually to verify that participating enterprises maintain management systems and raw material traceability in accordance with the requirements of the Yellowfin Tuna Fishery Improvement Project (YFT FIP). Enterprises that successfully complete the assessment are awarded a Certificate of Participation in the FIP Code Program.

To recognize the commitment of participating enterprises and to facilitate information verification by importers, buyers, business partners, and other stakeholders, VINATUNA publishes the Annual List of Enterprises Participating in the FIP Code Program on its official website. The list is updated following each annual assessment cycle and presents each enterprise’s participation history, together with the corresponding Certificate of Participation in the FIP Code Program.

VINATUNA believes that the public disclosure of the Annual List of Enterprises Participating in the FIP Code Program not only enhances transparency and traceability throughout Vietnam’s tuna supply chain, but also strengthens participating enterprises’ credibility in the marketplace, creates greater opportunities for international business cooperation, and supports the long-term development of a transparent, responsible, and sustainable tuna industry in Vietnam.

The list below presents the enterprises that have participated in the FIP Code Assessment Program, organized by assessment year.
